This ceiling light is incredibly easy to install either as an upgrade or a replacement of your existing light. Using hardware (not included), bolt the light down onto the ceiling in your RV or camper. The light can be turned on and off with the built-in push button, or it can be wired to a light switch. The 2-wire design hooks up to ground (white wire) and power (black wire).

Hello, everybody, Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Gustafson 12-volt RV LED ceiling light with this nice, open frame and a nice, texture-black finish. Now, folks, as you know, ceiling lights are gonna be perfect above your dinette table, counter, possibly your sink in the RV with it running on 12 volts and it's energy efficient. It's got an included LED energy-efficient yellow bulb that's gonna last longer and burn brighter than your incandescent bulbs. I'm gonna go ahead and zoom in here, so you can get a closer look and then we'll shut off the overhead lights for a nighttime demo, if you will. So as you can see, I've got it kinda hanging here loosely.
You would need to use hardware that's not included. You most likely already have some with the previous light that you're replacing this one with. As you can see, it's got a nice click button here. (button clicking) So you could click it on or off. Now I'll be honest, with this being a pendant light, I'm not sure how you'd be able to reach up to the ceiling and do that More likely than not, you probably have your light wired up to a switch on the wall, so you would most likely probably leave that on and then just use your switch.
But that's totally up to you. So shutting off the overhead lights. Again, you can see nice, open design, puts off a lotta light actually for how small it is. Keep in mind, this is about eye level with me as far as how I've got it hanging today. So, again, you can see the light that it's putting off.
The back wall here is about four feet away. Back here in the corner where I'm at, I'm about six feet away. So, nice, bright, I can still see what's going on. It is a two-wire design. You got white for ground and black for power.
Now one other thing to point out with, that switch I was telling you about, there was a screw-on kind of safety clip up there, like a wire nut. You should most likely be able to untwist that. Recap the switch part and just wire it direct if you so choose. But check the instructions that come with it to be sure on that particular part. Now zooming back in, putting lights back on. This is nine inches square here at the base. And overall from the top part here down to this part is nine inches overall. It's a nice, durable steel construction and it's gonna be very nice, long-lasting, sturdy design and it gives you, again, that modern look with that texture-black finish.
